All of our bread starts with the finest organic ingredients, is hand-mixed in small batches with our 16-year-old sourdough starter, and baked fresh before delivery. This keeps it alive and vibrant. We use only the simplest ingredients and traditional processes to create a loaf of bread which tastes sensational. Set your taste buds up for a real surprise.
All our loaves of bread are a satisfying 1.5 lbs.
Note that all bread is available sliced or not. Choose “Whole” or “Sliced” in the menu.

Update On Our Production Schedule:
We bake bread during the last weeks of each month. Please order your bread by mid-month (about the 15th) to ensure we can ship it before the month’s end.
Ingredients: organic stone-ground unbleached flour, water, organic whole wheat sourdough starter, organic sunflower seeds, organic pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, sea salt.
Mountain Brown Bread (100% Whole Wheat)
Ingredients: organic stone-ground whole wheat flour, water, organic whole wheat sourdough starter, sea salt.
Rocky Knob (Cinnamon Raisin Bread)
Ingredients: organic stone-ground unbleached flour, water, organic stone-ground whole wheat flour, organic whole wheat leaven (rising agent), organic raisins, sea salt.
Ingredients: organic stone-ground unbleached flour, water, organic whole wheat sourdough starter, organic cracked wheat, sea salt.
We are now packaging our bread in biodegradable cellophane bags. These bags are thick (1.2 mils) and strong and are made from wood cellulose fibers sourced with sustainable forestry principles, certified biodegradable, compostable and made carbon zero.
Please don’t toss them in the trash or your regular plastic recyclables. They can go right into your compost bin.
